Choreography by Kiki Lucas Music: Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Drehz Premiere 2011
Tying not only two dancers together but also connecting points of her own life, Kiki Lucas found this to be important enough to bring to the stage. The constant battle to obtain balance, release struggle and pursue determination fueled the intent for this work. Kiki's aggressive choreographic style embraces the athleticism of the dancers but also presents itself softly while exploring sense of self. Even when the rope is gone, uknown forces still achieve the task of misleading twists and journies.
