Houston Met Dance is excited to present Riddles Three in How We Move Together by Creative Incubation Residency Artist, Persi Mey

How We Move Together, is a feature length extension of the piece Persi premiered in April at Barnstorm Dance Fest under the same name. Exploring herd mentality, this work reflects on our sense of self in relation to community, and leadership imposed through idolization. How do we define who we are outside of where we are? How do others play a part in who we are? 

Persi’s Creative Incubation Residency started in 2023 and formed Riddles Three in 2024, with the creation of the film and stage premiere of Bear-ied. Currently Riddles Three’s ensemble members include Dannielle Shaw, Jasmine Burns, Michelle Reyes, Zinnia Havelka.

The Creative Incubation Residency at Houston Met Dance (HMD) is made possible by funding from the Houston Endowment, Inc. and Dance Source Houston’s Ground Work Grant.
