For 30 years, Houston Met Dance has supported the practice, creation, and presentation of dance in Houston by providing supportive programming that helps sustain the dance ecosystem. 

Our residency programs provide choreographers with time and space, enabling us to assist independent artists and small dance companies to hold open public classes, create and rehearse new work, and present these new works in our performance space, The Phoenix Studio Theatre. 

Houston Met Dance provides dance classes to students of all ages in multiple genres and styles. Our elevated dance instruction focuses on enhancing physical health, promoting cognitive skills, and inspiring creativity and artistry.
