Houston Met Dance Adult Ballet Ensemble
The Houston Met Dance Adult Ballet Ensemble is A community of ballet enthusiasts with a desire to deepen their understanding and experience within the ballet genre by learning choreography and practicing, taking the form from practice to presentation.
HMD Adult Ballet Ensemble members learn multiple dances and maintain a repertoire of dance through a consistent class and rehearsal schedule. The HMD Adult Ballet Ensemble will also have the opportunity to participate in scheduled performances throughout the year. Participation in the performances is encouraged, but it is not mandatory. HMD Ballet Ensemble is also open to those who wish to experience the class and rehearsal process and desire community engagement through Ballet.
To Become a Houston Met Dance Adult Ballet Ensemble Member:
All Dancers who currently take Ballet classes at the Beginner level or higher consistently at Houston Met Dance are eligible.
Dancers new to Houston Met Dance and interested in joining the ensemble should attend the Sunday, 1:30 p.m. Beginning Ballet class with Alisa to find out more information and communicate interest.

Sessions and Performances
The HMD Adult Ballet Ensemble is broken into three sessions to allow for greater flexibility amongst its participants, knowing that adult schedules and lives change.
Spring Session Rehearsals run March - May. Performances in the Studio Recital Showcase in June.
Summer Session Rehearsals run June - July. Performances in the Adult Studio Showcase in August.
Fall Session Rehearsals run October - January. Performances in the Studio Ensemble Showcase in February.
