Nature Stories:

TerraForm(ed) Collective

Nature Stories will use dance and individual stories as a way to understand the value of protecting local ecology. On April 18th, 3pm at Midtown Park, the TerraForm(ed) Collective will perform Nature Stories in conjunction with National Water Dance.  Across the nation different groups will bring attention to the fragility of our waters and move with one voice for responsible stewardship of our Earth. The dance will guide the public through Midtown Park and the community will be invited to add their own “Nature Stories” to the chalkboard in response to the dance that they are witnessing.

April 18th 2026 | 3:00pm | Midtown Park

Free and open to the public!

The TerraForm(ed) Collective grew out of a biannual event, National Water Dance, that brings together artists across the nation to draw community attention to issues related to water and the impact of climate change.  At Houston Met Dance, the TerraForm(ed) Collective has coalesced into a group passionate about dance with a focus of performing site-specific work in response to nature, formed and informed by the earth on which we live.
