Adult class rates

Single In-Person Class Rates:

  • $20.00 Pre-Registration in MindBody/

  • $22.00 Walk-up (please note we are a cashless business)

4 Class Card** $80 

8 Class Card** $160 

**All regularly purchased classes expire 4 weeks from date of purchase and will not be extended unless proof of injury (10% discount for METWORK Members)

Students are able to "early cancel" up to one (1) hour before the class start time through the MindBody App or Website. Once a student has early canceled, they are able to reschedule the class at their convenience. 

Students are responsible for tracking their purchase expiration dates and class credits.

Adult Intro Courses

COST: $80.00 PER 4 WEEK SESSION, 1 CLASS PER WEEK. 4 classes per session

WE DO NOT OFFER SINGLE CLASS PURCHASES FOR INTRO CLASSES.

SPACE IS LIMITED AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.

Make-up Classes: You must email classes@metdance.org in order to schedule a make-up class. Class credits can be used for any class on the OPEN ADULT SCHEDULE ONLY. Class credits expire after 6 months. Due to the specific number of classes in the session and the limited number of spots available, make-ups are not possible within the intro program. We do not refund; your registration and payment signifies a commitment to the 4 weeks.

Children and Youth Program

Tuition:

One Class Per Week- $335 Total per 10 week Term (Fall/Spring)

Two Classes Per Week- $615 Total per 10 week Term (Fall/Spring)

Three or more classes per week- $875 Total per Term

A $135 Deposit per class is due upon registration to hold students' place in class and the balance being paid in full or in two installments. There are no refunds on tuition paid.

There will be a Recital Term March 20 - May 13 with fees associated with classes, costumes and administration available for registration at a later date.

Cancellation Policy

Open Classes with under 3 students registered one (1) hour prior to start time are subject to cancellation.  Any students pre-registered will be notified.  In the event of a class cancellation, students will be able to reschedule their class or classes at their convenience.

Houston Met Dance reserves the right to cancel classes or events due to weather, issues with the facility such as loss of power, or other circumstances that are beyond the control of Houston Metropolitan Dance.

 

In purchasing classes, the student assumes responsibility in following all policies and procedures set for by the Houston Met Dance Inc.

All sales are final and there are no refunds on purchases.

Walk up registration is available for classes that have not reached capacity.

We are not able to accommodate observers including children and siblings of registered dancers.

We do not refund, however exchanges and purchase expiration extensions will be considered depending on circumstances.

Please be sure to read through the checklist below to ensure you are prepared for our check-in process

Check in checklist:

1. Check in will begin 15 minutes before class start time.

2. Please enter the double glass doors located on Main Street. DO NOT USE THE SIDE OR BACK DOORS

3. Don’t forget your water bottle.

4. Students will not be admitted into classes if they are more than 10 minutes late.

5. For Dance Discovery students- at least 1 parent/guardian must be present in the facility for the duration of the class.

6. Exit is through the doorways that lead directly to the parking lot.

The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center reserves the right to ask any person to leave if they are not adhering to our stated policies and procedures.
