All Primary Students 9:30 – 9:45 Drop Off 10:00 – 10:45 Performance
All Tuesday Ballet 10:30 – 10:45 Drop Off 11:00 – 11:45 Performance
All Modern 11:30 – 11:45 Drop Off 12:00 – 12:45 Performance
All Jazz 12:30 – 12:45 Drop Off 1:00 – 1:45 Performance
All Saturday Ballet 1:30 – 1:45 Drop Off 2:00 – 2:45 Performance
COSTUMES: Leotards, Skirts Etc will be available for pick up in the office starting Monday, May 9, A Parent will need to come in and sign receipt of all costumes.

TICKETS: You will be given a ticket confirmation when you pick up your costume(s). If you have not already requested your tickets you can do so by filling out the ticket request form here - https://forms.gle/oh8r7ZHruGUCvWgH9
PERFORMANCE DAY:
DROP OFF : Drop Off will be at the single glass door located in our parking lot. You will need to enter the parking lot from Main Street. HMDC staff will be awaiting your arrival to direct your student through the door to check in and get them ready for the performance.
When you drop off your student, please have them dressed in their leotards and tights with their appropriate accessory and shoes labeled clearly and with hair fixed and makeup done. It is important that you put your child’s name on all shoes (dance and street) and any extra accessories.PLEASE DO NOT SEND EXTRA BAGS, JEWELRY, TOYS WITH YOUR CHILDREN, AS THEY TEND GET LOST.
Students in multiple performances may bring a water bottle with them.
All students will be monitored and attended to by the teachers and our staff at all times.
HAIR AND MAKE UP FOR THE PERFORMANCE: We ask that you put light makeup on the dancers including a little eye shadow, blush and lipstick. Please remember these are children and they should look like children on stage. Their hair should be neatly fixed and secured off of their faces. If your child is in multiple classes, they can wear their hair the same for each class as there is limited time.
**Please note that the restrooms will not be available for last min preparations. It is important that all students come ready.
PARKING: The best places to park will be the Lawndale Art Center Parking located on the corner of Travis and Rosedale with overflow parking at the Joy School located on Chelsea Blvd. We have confirmed permission to use these parking lots for the showcases. See Map Below for Details.
ENTRANCE FOR THE PERFORMANCES: The audience entrance for the showcase performance is through the double glass doors on main street only. Please make sure to bring your ticket confirmation with you so that you may present it to the will call desk located in the lobby. For the safety and security of all audience members and performers, please follow the instructions of the front desk staff when entering and exiting the studio theater.
SEATING: Seating will be similar to the parent watch week showings we have had in the past. You are welcome to watch from the seating across the front of the mirrors as well as the observation deck above. The mirror will be covered and we will have additional lighting for these performances.
PICK UP: After the main bow, we will be releasing the students to parents right in the studio.
PHOTO/VIDEO POLICY:
Parents – you are more than welcome to video your student performing as long as you do not obstruct the view of other parents.
